stop motion
2018
My stop motion video was inspired by the song Hope by Roar. I really like this song, ever since I first heard it in November and really wanted to use it in a project. I made this project a stop motion because I thought it would fit the music well and I wanted to draw the characters. The song doesn't Have an apparent meaning or story, so in my video I wanted to keep the video vague so viewers could interpret their own meaning behind the video instead of being outright told. Originally I wanted to use the whole song for the video but due to lack of time and ideas I shortened it. Most of the time making this was spent on drawing and cutting out the characters and props, which surprised me because the characters are so simple I didn't think it would take as long as it did. I am proud of my work, but I'm disappointed in the quality of the images since they could've been much better.
